No Gatwick Express services over the May Day holiday weekend

Saturday 30 April to Monday 2 May 2016

As a result of engineering work taking place to renew and upgrade your railway, there will be no Gatwick Express services running on the above dates. Alternative services are available to/from either London Blackfriars (Thameslink) or London Bridge (Southern).

RMT Union strike call on Southern services

The RMT union has called strike action on 10-11 May and 12-13 May, which will significantly affect Southern services.

Gatwick Express services will be largely unaffected by the Southern strike. However there will be some changes to stopping patterns in the peak and all trains travelling to and from London will be extremely busy on these days, so we would recommend you allow more time for travel.

If you were planning to travel on Southern services on these days please check the latest Southern travel information.

The Gatwick Express is a non-stop train between London Victoria, which is in the heart of Central London and London Gatwick Airport. It takes only 30 minutes - perfect for a quick and easy journey to catch your flight or if you’re looking to start your London adventure as soon as possible. Plus, because trains leave every 15 minutes, there’s less waiting around.
