Gatwick Express is one of the most popular and favourite train services in the United Kingdom, having won the independent National Passenger Survey a number of times.

Operating between London Victoria station and Gatwick Airport, our dedicated airport train service is renowned for its speed and frequency. Departing every 15 minutes, with no traffic jams, taxi queues or stops to worry about, you can be in the centre of London (Victoria), or right inside Gatwick airport (South Terminal) in just 30 minutes.

Designed to take the hassle out of transferring to and from Gatwick airport - and with the air traveler in mind - accommodation in Express Class (Standard) is comfortable, modern and air-conditioned with a range of drinks and light refreshments served at the seat. First Class interiors provide a calming and spacious environment and include large reclining seats with tables, complimentary news papers and at seat refreshment service.

Gatwick Express customers at London’s Victoria station can check their flight details here as well as before they board the train with dedicated flight information display screens showing the flight number, destination, departure time and departure terminal.

The platform at Gatwick Airport is conveniently positioned directly beneath the South Terminal so customers have a quick escalator ride up into the terminal and can be at check-in within minutes.

Since 1984, we’ve operated the only non-stop train service between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.

Managed and operated by Southern, we have 300 staff, some of whom are multilingual to help meet, greet and help foreign travellers at our stations.
