How do I make a booking for a wheelchair user?
To make a booking for a wheelchair user, please call Customer Services on 0845 850 1530 (overseas +44 208 5282 900)
Your details will then be forwarded to our Assisted Travel team, who will deal with your request for a wheelchair space and contact you directly to confirm that these arrangements have been made. If a wheelchair space is not available on the train you have requested, you will be contacted and asked to select another time to travel.

How will I know if there is engineering work affecting my travel arrangements?
Engineering work is planned well in advance and the information provided at the time of purchasing your train tickets should be up to date. Service disruption information is provided on gatwickexpress.com

Do Southern/Gatwick Express make any charitable donations?
Southern will make a charitable donation of £1 for every annual season ticket sold online via the Gatwick Express website.
Currently Southern supports two charities:
- Railway Children
- Rockinghorse Appeal
The Railway Children provides food, shelter, healthcare and education for children living on the streets, while the Rockinghorse Appeal raises funds to make Sussex hospitals more child-friendly.
What discounts do children get?
Child fares are available at half the adult flat fare between the ages of 5 – 15yrs.
Children under 5yrs travel for free.
What transport is available from London Victoria Station at night after the London Underground closes?
There are night buses and taxi services available outside the front of the station. There is also a taxi rand directly above the Gatwick Express platforms.
