About the artists
Benga is a 25 year old producer who grabbed dubstep by the scruff of the neck and dragged it from Croydon’s bedrooms and record stores onto the global stage. Part of the electronic super group, Magnetic Man, alongside Skream and Artwork, the self proclaimed ‘musical scientist’ has worked with everyone from Kelis and Katy B to Example and The Prodigy. Benga’s 2012 solo tour takes him all over the world and it’s whilst travelling that he finds time and inspiration to write new material. His Express Track is the perfect way to get hyped for your holiday.
The Milk are a young Essex band that whipped up a frenzy amongst record labels before signing to Sony in 2012. They’ve received rave reviews from The Guardian and BBC 6, amongst others, for their unique take on Motown and Northern Soul that will definitely have you dancing in your seat. The Milk’s 30 minute Express Track is the best way to see why the band are widely tipped to be topping charts for years to come.
Philip Sheppard is an Oscar nominated composer who specializes in film and television soundtracks. Recently commissioned to rescore all 212 national anthems for the London 2012 Olympic Games, Philip has worked with some of the world’s greatest musicians, including Scott Walker, Jeff Buckley, Jarvis Cocker and David Bowie to name but a few. Philip’s passion for writing music to landscape is what drew him towards Express Tracks, and it’s this same passion that shines brightly throughout every note of his incredible 30 minute score.
