ASLEF strike update

ASLEF have announced the suspension of industrial action so the full timetable on Southern and Gatwick Express train services will be restored from Tuesday 24 January. Until then, Gatwick Express train services will operate to a reduced half-hourly frequency and will run between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport only.

RMT strike action is planned to take place on Monday 23 January. Please visit the Southern website for the latest information.

To allow Network Rail to carry out essential engineering work, a number of late night/early morning services will not run. Check our timetable for full details.

Facilities at London Victoria

Tickets and information

Gatwick Express is located on Platforms 13 and 14. A ticket office and ticket machines sell Gatwick Express tickets there.

There are also ticket machines throughout the station and the main ticket office is on the concourse. Tickets and train information are also available from the travel centre.

The main ticket office is open 24 hours for tickets for travel that day, advance purchase tickets are available between 07:00 and 21:00.

Toilets and baby changing

There are toilets, including an accessible toilet, near the start
of platform 1.

There are another set of toilets, including an accessible toilet on the other side of the concourse between the Buckingham Palace Road and Grosvenor Gardens exits.

There are no longer any showers at Victoria station.

Cash and bureau de change

There are cash dispensers and a bureau de change on both concourses.


There are payphones on the concourse and near most station exits.

Car hire

There are branches of Sixt and Streetcar in the car park.

There is no BTP station at Victoria.

Luggage trolleys are available from trolley points around the concourse, platforms and at the taxi rank. You need a £1 coin to release a trolley which is returned when you return it to a trolley point.

Left luggage

Left luggage is a secure place where you can leave items of luggage for collection later.

The left luggage office is between platforms 7 and 8. It is open 07:00 to 00:00 (midnight) every day.

Lost property

The lost property counter is in the left luggage office. It is open Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. There is a storage charge for reclaimed items.

Photo booths

There are a number of photo booths at the station for photos for passports, travel passes and other identity documents.
