There’s more flexibility with using tickets onboard, when you buy online. However, same-day travel is only available when you buy your ticket from a ticket office.

First Class & Express Class Single and Returns

For print at home or mobile ticket Gatwick Express will allow travel for 30 days from the start date of the ticket and are only valid on Gatwick Express services.

For tickets issued by national Ticket on Departure or Post, the outward journey must be made within 5 days, and including, of the date shown on your ticket and return journeys must be made within one calendar month. These tickets will be accepted by any TOC between Gatwick and London Victoria.

First Class & Express Class Single

These tickets are valid only for the date on the ticket.

First Class & Express Class Return

You must make your outward and return journeys within one calendar month of the date on your ticket.

First Class & Express Class Day Return

Valid Monday to Friday, you can use these tickets when you leave Gatwick Airport after 09:30, or at anytime from London Victoria. You can start your return journey up to 01:35 on the day after you made your outbound journey.

On Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays, outward and return travel is valid on any train.

First & Express Class Carnet

You can use each of your ten tickets for one single journey at any time of the day, in either direction, for 12 months from the issue date on the ticket.
