From time to time, often at weekends or public holidays, Gatwick Express has to make alterations to train services, usually for planned Improvement works.
Overnight engineering work between Earlswood and Gatwick Airport from 23:50 on Saturday 25 until 09:15 on Sunday 26 May 2013
Saturday
First Capital Connect
The 23:42 Bedford to Three Bridges journeys times will be extended by up to 30 minutes after leaving East Croydon.
First Great Western
The 23:34 Reading to Gatwick Airport will terminate at Redhill. Customers should use alternative trains to Gatwick Airport.
Gatwick Express
A reduced half-hourly service will run between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.
Southern
The 08:10 Brighton to London Victoria service will not run. Passengers are advised to travel on the 08:04 or 08:35 Brighton to London Victoria services.

Engineering work between London Victoria and Clapham Junction on Sunday 2 June 2013
A revised Southern service will operate on most routes on Sunday 2 June 2013. This is due to late-notice engineering works which will close some of the rail lines between London Victoria and Clapham Junction.
Brighton Mainline
Two trains per hour will run between London Victoria and Brighton. One train per hour (stopping service) will run between Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
West London
No service on this route. Tickets will be accepted on London Underground, London Overground and London Midland services.
Metro
Two trains per hour will run between Clapham Junction and Dorking (via Hackbridge). Two trains per hour will run between London Victoria and Caterham. Two trains per hour will run between Balham and Sutton (via Norbury). Two trains per hour will run between Clapham Junction and Sutton (via Crystal Palace). Buses replace trains between Balham and West Croydon (via Crystal Palace).
The following services will run to a normal Sunday timetable. London Bridge - East Croydon. London Bridge - Crystal Palace. London Bridge - West Croydon.
Oxted
One train per hour will run between London Bridge and Oxted. Buses replace trains between Oxted and East Grinstead. The Uckfield to Oxted service will run to a normal Sunday timetable.
Redhill
One train per hour will run between Redhill and Tonbridge. The London Bridge to Horsham service will run to a normal Sunday timetable.
Mainline West
One train per hour will run between London Victoria and Portsmouth Harbour / Littlehampton via Worthing. One train per hour will run between London Bridge and Bognor Regis.
Mainline East
One train per hour will run between London Victoria and Ore (via Eastbourne and Hastings)
Coastway West
Trains to / from Southampton Central will be diverted to run to terminate / start from Portsmouth & Southsea. Replacement buses will run between Havant and Southampton Central calling at Cosham, Fareham and Swanwick
Coastway East
Buses replace trains between Lewes and Seaford.
Gatwick Express
No service. Southern trains will run between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport four times per hour.
Four Southern trains per hour will operate between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport (and vice versa).
Please note that these trains are likely to be extremely busy, therefore that you can also travel between London Bridge and Gatwick Airport (and vice versa) using alternative Southern and First Capital Connect services.

No trains will run between Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction. Tickets will be excepted on local bus on all reasonable routes.
Southeastern
Buses replace trains between Herne Hill and Beckenham Junction.
