Our new Gatwick Express focus group
We are carrying out research into the technology available to better monitor passenger loadings and crowding levels. This will help us to improve the customer experience by allowing us to provide customers with information about crowding levels on trains, giving passengers more choice about which services to board.
It will also help us to improve the way we plan and manage our train service - for instance better timetable planning based on more accurate predictions of customer numbers.
An important aspect of this research project is finding out how customers would like to receive the information - and that’s where you come in!
We have recruited customers who travel on the Gatwick Express to form a focus group and help us develop ways in which the information will benefit you most.
