- Platform 1 (for trains towards Witham and London) - Between the side entrance and the main entrance to the platform, fixed to the platform-facing wall of the station building
The toilets are located in the station building and are accessed via the waiting room. An accessible toilet is available for radar key holders. All toilets at this station are scheduled to be open at the following times:
Monday - Friday 05:30 - 18:30
Saturday 05:30 - 12:30
Sunday 08:00 - 15:00
The waiting room is located in the station building opposite the ticket office, and is accessed from the booking hall.
Station Car Park
There are two sheltered cycle parking areas providing 64 spaces located between the bus stops at the side entrance to the station and the local council car park. A further sheltered cycle parking area with 20 spaces is available in the corner of the Station Approach car park, which is operated by Braintree District Council.
Rail replacement bus services pick up and drop off at the bus stop in the turning circle, just outside the station.

Driver only operated services. Assistance at this station is provided by a staff member during ticket office opening hours. On weekdays only, a mobile platform host is available for pre-booked assistance between the hours of 12:00 and 19:00. Outside of these hours customers are advised to use Witham station, which is approximately 8 miles away. Booking is recommended.
