Many people don’t have a traditional 9 to 5, Monday to Friday working life and would benefit from flexible travel products and services rather than standard season tickets. That’s why we’re working with our partners in the Department for Transport to develop a range of flexible train tickets and would like to include your views in our thinking.
Do you do any flexible train ticket types currently?
If you regularly commute to or from London, you may already know about Carnet tickets on Thameslink and Great Northern - a convenient and flexible train season ticket option. It’s great if you use the same route regularly but aren’t sure exactly when you’ll need to travel. It’s often cheaper than a standard season ticket and is valid for up to 3 months. Peak and Off-Peak Carnet booklets of either 5 or 10 single journey tickets are available and will save you 10%.
