Our staff are here to support you on your journey, including:

  • Providing boarding ramps if you are a wheelchair user
  • A guiding arm in case you are a blind or visually impaired person
  • We provide induction loops at our ticket offices
  • Support tools if you have learning needs or an invisible disability
  • Downloadable guides to help you plan your journey

Priority Seat card

Struggling to stand on the train but don’t want to ask for a seat?

If you’re pregnant, disabled, over 65, or travelling with a child under 3, you may be entitled to a free Priority Seat card.

Priority seats are available on all our trains, usually near the doors and marked with a P sign.

Simply show your card to someone sitting in a priority seat and they’ll see that you have a need for one of these seats. You are not guaranteed a seat if the priority seats are already taken by others with priority cards or who otherwise need to sit down.
