Win one of forty limited-edition Gatwick Express-themed waistcoats to mark the 40th anniversary of the Gatwick Express (the “Promotion”)
Terms of Participation in the Promotion (the “Terms”)
1. Eligibility
- To be eligible you must satisfy the following criteria (Eligibility Criteria):
- Be aged eighteen or over; and
- Have a UK postal address.
- Employees of the Promotor, their families, dependants, and agents not eligible to Participate in the Promotion.
- Any entries to the Promotion that are made by persons who do not meet the Eligibility Criteria, or are otherwise ineligible in accordance with the clause above shall be discarded.
2. Participation
- The Promotion is only available on the Gatwick Express Instagram profile
- To enter the Promotion, you must:
- follow @gatwickexpress on Instagram;
- correctly answer the competition question in the comments section of the competition post; and
- include a heart emoji to indicate the gender sizing of waistcoat you would like to have the chance of winning:
- a red heart indicates women’s sizing; or
- a black heart indicates men’s sizing
- Each entry nominating a red heart will go into the draw to win one of twenty women’s waistcoats
- Each entry nominating a black heart will go into the draw to win one of twenty men’s waistcoats
- By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by:
- these Terms; and
- Instagram terms of use
3. Timing of Entries
- Entries to the Promotion may be submitted between 12 noon on Tuesday 14th May 2024 and 12 noon on Tuesday 21st May 2024
4. Winners and Selection
- If you satisfy the Eligibility Criteria in clause 1, and participate as set out in clause 2, and enter in the timings set out in clause 3, you will be eligible to go into the draw to win one of forty limited-edition Gatwick-Express themed waistcoats (the Prize)
- Of the forty waistcoats:
- There will be twenty winners of female sized entries and twenty winners of male sized entries
- The following female sizes are available:
- Size 10 – seven will be given away
- Size 14 – six will be given away
- Size 16 – seven will be given away
- The following male sizes are available:
- Size Small (40) – seven will be given away
- Size Medium (42) – seven will be given away
- Size Large (44) – six will be given away
- Winners will be selected by the Promotor at random by an automated generator
- The winners will be contacted via direct message on Instagram by no later than 12 noon on Friday 24th May 2024
- To claim the Prize, winners must reply to the Instagram message within 72 hours with the following details:
- Shipping address; and
- Size preference as outlined above:
- Waistcoat sizing will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis, therefore, winners who reply the quickest are more likely to receive their chosen size; and
- If a winner’s chosen size is no longer available, they will receive the closest available size.
- If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, or any other period specified in our contact notice, of the notification being sent or is otherwise not available, the Prize will be forfeited by them, and the Promotor may select an alternative entrant to receive the Prize
- Any winner who is determined as being ineligible to receive the Prize in accordance with clause 1, shall not be entitled to receive the Prize and an alternative entrant will be chosen
- All winners who successfully claim the prize will receive it by no later than Friday 14th
Terms and Conditions
- Only one entry per person. No purchase necessary
- The Prize is not transferable and, unless offered by the Promotor, there will be no substitutions for, or cash alternatives of, the Prize
- No expenses incurred in connection with entry to or participation in this Promotion will be paid
- The winning selection of the Promotor is final and no correspondence will be entered into
- The Promotor shall have the right to refuse to accept any entry
- All entries are subject to verification. Incomplete, bulk, automated and third party entries (including “voting exchange”) will be disqualified
- Failure to comply with these Terms will automatically render an entry void
- The Promotor does not accept any liability for any entries which are late, lost, incomplete or rendered
- The name and county/town of the winners will be published or otherwise made available by the Promotor for a period of one month after the prize draw closing date. If you object to your information being made available, you must notify us by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promotor. By entering into the promotion, you acknowledge that we may be required to provide your name and county/town to the Advertising Standards Authority if required by law, even in circumstances where you have requested that we do not publish your information
- Your Personal Data, meaning any data you have provided to us which may be able to identify you, may be used as described to you in these Terms. This may include use for promotional purposes by the Promotor or its partner(s). If you consent to such use, then you may withdraw your consent by sending us notice in the manner prescribed in our Privacy Policy
- Except as outlined in clauses 9 and 10 above all personal data will be held and used by the Promotor in accordance with its Privacy Policy

- The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms at any time without notice
- In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms, the Promotion itself or any other matter relating to, or arising out of, these Terms or the Promotion, the Promoter’s decision shall be final. No written correspondence or verbal discussion will be entered into

- This Promotion and these Terms are governed by the Laws of England and Wales and the Promoter and participants agree that the Courts of England and Wales, exclusively, shall settle disputes
