Our trains run twice per hour, taking you between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport. To see the exact departure and arrival times, download our timetable here
Gatwick Express is a non-stop train between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.
At Gatwick Airport, the train station is situated in the heart of the airport at the South Terminal. If you’re travelling to or from the North Terminal, a fast inter-terminal transit shuttle connects the North Terminal to the train station and the South Terminal.
London Victoria is well connected to other travel links. It’s on the London Underground’s Victoria, District and Circle lines, making it easy to get around central London. If you’re headed elsewhere, Victoria bus station is next door, and it’s only a short walk to the National Express coach station.
Planning and re-checking your journey
Journey planners are updated to reflect the timetable we plan to operate.
Information on upcoming engineering work is available here. These alterations may be added to journey planners later (where this is the case, it is noted in the individual engineering work entries).
Online timetables are available below. Please note that these timetables do not reflect:
- Weekend and overnight alterations made owing to engineering work
- Any alterations due to on-the-day disruption
Whichever way you plan your journey, please remember to re-check your journey using the journey planner before you travel for on-the-day alterations.
Finding a quieter train
Where possible, you are advised to travel at less busy times. Information on how busy we expect trains to be, updated on a daily basis, is available in our on-line timetables and live departures. More information on this is available here.

How do I find out about engineering works?
Always check your journey before you travel, as there may be changes to services due to engineering work and any local disruption on the day. Online journey planners may only be updated with works close to when they are due to happen.
In order to keep you informed we will continue to advise you when engineering work alterations have been updated. As soon as the information is available, details of work taking place will be advertised on our engineering work page here. Information on when online journey planners are currently correct up to is available here.
For details of the availability of advance fares, please visit the advance ticket availability information here. If your pre-booked journey is changed, for example the time is amended, then you can either continue to travel on the revised timetable or apply for a refund.
