Getting to the Train Station by Taxi

Find out about getting a taxi to Gatwick Express stations, cab services from our taxi ranks, and what help is available if you’re disabled.

Taxis to and from the station

Getting a taxi to the station can be really convenient – it’s door-to-door service. We have drop-off and pick-up points with dropped kerbs near the station entrance of both London Victoria and Brighton stations.

There are also taxi ranks at London Victoria and Brighton stations.

Hiring a taxi

There are phone numbers for local taxis on posters at all our stations.

Cab drivers using our taxi ranks must offer you an accessible taxi if you ask for one. Taxis arranged through assisted travel are separate from the local taxis who pull up at the taxi rank.

If you haven't pre-booked a taxi you usually won't have to wait longer than 20 minutes for a taxi from the rank. But you could have a longer wait during rush hour or very busy periods.

Help getting to and from the station

If you have a disability we can help you get to your train from the taxi rank or drop-off point.

You’ll need to book assisted travel beforehand so we can arrange for someone to help.
